During the partial eclipse of 2024, I enjoyed exploring the various changes in sunlight and shadows, as the moon covered the sun. Thus, I was able to capture this photo of cresent shadows.

In all, experiencing an eclipse is an exciting event. While I didn't experience totality, I was amazed at how much sunlight was still visible even though most of the sun was covered. I also enjoyed the cooler temperatures and the sudden stillness that is hard to describe. This eclipse reminded me that I am capable of noticing subtle changes in light and the environment. Afterall, I am apart of human nature.

During the opening reception, I received an honorable mention! After 2 years of submissions, it is a great feeling to have my work acknowledged.
